Brooksville is a city in Bracken County, Kentucky, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the city's population was 589. It is the county seat of Bracken County. The area was settled before 1800 by William and Joel Woodward, and known early on as Woodward's Crossroads, as it was located at the crossing of several local roads.
